Mary Ann Cappiello, Myra Zarnowski, and Marc Aronson: Nonfiction and the Common Core
During the 2012-2013 school year, Myra, Mary Ann and Marc wrote a series for SLJ's "Curriculum Connections" newsletter that focused on using nonfiction in the classroom and school library.
Marc Aronson and Sue Bartle: "Wondering how to Put Common Core into Practice? It's Easier Than You Think"
In November of 2012, Marc and Sue wrote a column for the SLJ's print edition on implementing the Common Core using a range of print and digital texts, entitled "Wondering how to Put Common Core into Practice? It's Easier Than You Think".
Kathleen Odean: "20 Outstanding Nonfiction Books - Core Essentials"
In May of 2103, Kathleen wrote an article for SLJ, "20 Outstanding Nonfiction Books," that provides examples of great nonfiction titles for the elementary grades through high school.
